3 Fun Ways to Level-Up Your Coffee for Summer

With the end of summer looming over our shoulders, we are looking for any and all ways to savour the season! Let’s enjoy what we have left of summer with some fun and simple drink recipes to beat the heat. Some of these combinations may sound odd, but trust us when we say they work! These drinks are sure to keep you and your coffee friends refreshed and coming back for more.

Coconut Cold Brew / Coconut Americano

Coconut water is not only delicious, but it's high electrolyte and mineral content makes it the perfect beverage to stay hydrated during the hottest of summer days! Throw in some coffee, and you've got a refreshing drink that will keep you caffeinated and hydrated. 🤝 The best of both worlds.

What you'll need:

What to do:

  • Add desired amount of ice to your cup.
  • Pour in your coconut water.
  • Top with cold brew concentrate or espresso.
  • Enjoy!

Espresso Tonic / Cold Brew Tonic

This combination is a common one that you may see offered at your local specialty café. However, you'd be surprised by how many people haven't given this fizzy refreshment a try! Lucky for you, this drink is incredibly easy to recreate. Whether you're hoping to bring the café experience to the comfort of your home, or impress your guests, this is the perfect drink for summer. ✨

What you'll need:

What to do:

  • Add desired amount of ice to your cup.
  • Pour the tonic water over the ice, leaving at least an inch or so of space for your cold brew concentrate or espresso. 
  • Pour your cold brew concentrate or espresso slowly over the ice.
  • This is optional, but if you’re feeling up to it, add some orange zest or lemon zest to boost some of the aromas! Garnish with a slice of orange or lemon too to make it more refreshing.
  • Enjoy!

Cold Brew Lemonade / Espresso Lemonade
