Coffee Wallas - Khar Taw Hmi SL34 Washed (Filter / Espresso)
"How exciting is this coffee?! Myanmar is relatively new to specialty coffee. The single farm, single varietal nature of this lot brings extreme clarity to the cup. It’s got bright acidity, rounded sweetness, and depth in the body—everything you’d need to make a dang good cortado."
Description
This coffee is sourced through Indochina, and is produced by U Sai Wan and his family near the border of Mandalay and Northern Shan in Myanmar. His family’s farm is about 450 acres, which is quite large compared to most farms we’ve been to! What’s really interesting about their farm is that U Sai Wan is innovative with processing in specialty coffee, and also is involved in several coffee organizations.
