“I recommend this matcha for its ultra-smooth texture and vibrant jade-green colour. This matcha is beautifully smooth on its own, yet it also makes an incredibly creamy and bold matcha latte. It’s rare to find a ceremonial matcha that works so well in both forms, and I hope you enjoy experiencing it as much as we do!”

— Grace, General Manager

Description

Meet Daigyo's Kumo no Ue. Crafted from first-harvest leaves in Mie Prefecture, this matcha features a vivid jade-green color and an exceptionally smooth, delicate texture. True to its name, “Above the Clouds,” it delivers a light, cloud-like experience with a refined bean-like aroma that gently rises from its natural tea fragrance. While many high ceremonial grades aren’t suited for lattes, Kumo no Ue is a rare exception—producing an incredibly smooth and silky flavor even in milk. It’s ideal for customers seeking an ultra-premium, cloud-soft matcha for Usucha or an elevated latte experience.
