Matcha Tasting Flight

The matchas are extraordinary, the shipping is fast, and all the little benefits of a tasting flight are wonderful. Can’t say enough good things!

As a new matcha-lover, this was perfect to find a flavour profile I love. All 3 were delicious and high-quality. Would definitely try new flights as they become available.

I enjoyed the previous tasting flights and loved the advent calendar, so when I saw this new iteration of the tasting flight I had to give it a try! Love that there are gram sizing options now and that each tin contains the same amount. The info sheet, pin, and giftcard are such nice touches and make the tasting flight an even lovelier option for gifting. The subscription is great so that I never have to worry about finding matcha that's in stock when I've run out, and can modify my next delivery date so easily. Plus! Trying different brands, cultivars, etc. is a really cool experience and a great way to find brands to order from in the future. I plan on keeping a little of each brand to do a little taste test when I'm almost done, and these tins make it a bit more easy to keep things blind.

While I did previously enjoy seeing the different tins by different companies, I starting running into the issue of...what do I do with all of them? It might seem silly, but with these more standardized ones I don't feel bad about recycling them and if I do keep them they're much easier to store or reuse for other purposes with the same sizing.

i was hesitant to try the roaster pack, having ordered specific brands from the site previously. but i got to choose exactly which brands went into my roasters pack out of a range of picks, and i'm glad they werent randomly chosen for me. i am quite pleased with the ones i received because i know what i like, and the quality of the pin that it came with is also very good, very cute. only wish the cans werent all the same, and actually came in the original packaging so i could tell them apart/remember easily which i liked most, didnt like, etc.

I decided to splurge on the matcha flight after having a good experience with the single products. The docked one star is mainly for the packaging; the cardboard insert came loose so the tins were just free rolling inside the box and I'm personally not a big fan of the numbered tins. Like some of the other reviewers have mentioned, I would prefer to have the product info on the tin (can be similar to how the O5 tea bar ones are a plain tin with product sticker).

I got the subscription so, if each flight comes with the same numbered tin design but I don't finish the previous flight, I feel like it would get really confusing which tin is which matcha.

Alternatively, if y'all plan to keep this tin design, maybe offer an option after the first month to opt out of receiving more tins with a slight discount so that the intial batch of tins can be reused.
