Tip of My Tongue Contest Results! (October Issue)
As you may have seen in our inaugural newsletter, we shared who the winner was for our Tip of My Tongue contest! If you didn’t receive our email, ahem, subscribe here so you don't miss out on any of our future love notes.
If you’re not sure what the contest was, the jist of it was that we decided to include a 4th coffee in the October issue, however the coffee was unmarked. A mystery! The goal was for our subscribers to guess which Detour coffee it was and we provided 4 options for them to choose from. If you’re curious on more details you can read our blog post on it here.
So who won?

He guessed correctly that it was the Santa Clara, or option B. Good job Trevor & good job to your tongue! We have sent the coffee your way with the gift certificate. The gift certificate unfortunately isn’t in the form of a giant cheque – we just ran out of those. Darn.
It was interesting to see that quite a lot of folks guessed the mystery coffee to be A, or El Truifino. We did a cupping with the two side by side and the confusing notes would be the Apple vs Passion fruit and Whipped Cream vs Chocolate Ganache. No one said it would be easy!
Either way, we’re really happy with the contest. We think it was a fantastic way to create a cool experience for our subscribers and hopefully you all felt the same.
