Chachalate - Sobacha Chacha (Japanese Roasted Buckwheat)

$12.95

Do you love single-origin coffee? Try single-origin chocolate!

Quite possibly the sweetest add-on we've got to pair with your coffee.

This small-batch, made-to-order chocolate intends to highlight the unique origins of cacao (sounds familiar, eh?) and has been ethically sourced by Ryan over at Chachalate!

Soba is a grain, similar to barley. Yes, the same soba in Japanese Soba Noodles! When Soba is roasted, it is often brewed as a tea, called Sobacha. This roasted soba hails from Nagano, Japan, which is infused into the Chachalate. It's then mixed with crunchy sprinkles of Sobacha and caramelized sugar. It has a palate-enveloping warmth and roastiness that's sweet, comforting, and fruity all in one!

The cacao beans used in this bar were grown by over 4,500 neighbouring farmers in the village of Mbingu (Kiswahili for Heaven), Tanzania. The beans were then carefully fermented at Kokoa Kamili, the central fermentary in the region. Chachalate then lightly roasted these beans to preserve and highlight their natural flavours (just like your favourite fruity coffees).

Ingredients: Organic Cacao Beans, Sugars (Organic Cane Sugar), Sobacha

The chocolate is made without added preservatives, soy lecithin, vanilla, dairy, eggs, or gluten. They may contain traces of nuts or peanuts.
