The Blackout blend is part Santa Lucia from Brazil and part Colombia from a farm west of Bogota called La Celia. La Celia is a community coffee with 147 families contributing to the lot. A lot of the time, you find that the ‘co-op’ coffees tend to be a bit lower-grade, but we found that this had a really nice clean cup profile. Blackout is great because it adds the social aspect that lets Hatch work with and help the families in that town.
